Well, Martin spent alot of time yesterday going over the pool ring and found 2 noticeable slits and a couple of suspect marks or possible future tears, all due to the cats!!! So, he patched them up and we waited... it seemd to work great! So we filled it with more air and more water, put on the cover.
This morning I looked out the window and all was fine! Then about 20 minutes later I look out again and there is Muffin... jumping up on the rim! I ran out there and got him down, BAD KITTY! He did it again! I scared him off. There he goes again! So I got the hose out and sprayed him, he ran off to the neighbors yard, LOL BAD KITTY!!! But I went out to look at the pool and felt the rim.. OH NOOOOO!!!! It's going down again! I don't think because of what Muffin just did.. I think it's either that the patches didn't take or that ther are more leaks somewhere.... but we didn't loose any water.. but that's not to say that we won't.. OH POOOO!
So now... Martin doesn't have another day off until next week and we'll have to wait possible til then to try to fix this. Good thing, the weather is weird this week and it's going to be about 15 degrees colder so the kids won't want to be in the pool. Just need to keep the rim aired up and hope the cats leave it alone!
OH, and I didn't have the heart to dunk them yesterday! LOL
