This week is my girls last week of school, and their summer vacation will begin! Whooohooo!
Bad thing: We put the pool up (view the pool down 2 posts) and we are having a hard time keeping the rim inflated. Well.. we notice our cats like to walk around the rim of it to get a drink of water.. even though they have a water bowl of FRESH cold water out. We scare them away of course.. next morning, deflated rim, lots of water GONE! Add more air, more water.. Next morning, deflated rim, water gone! We are going to have a HUGE water bill, probably even more $$ than a new pool :(( Martin has spent hours and hours looking for the leak, he can't find it anywhere, even tried soapy water. Nothing..
So, I found a pool forum and posted for help. Got a reply: Try soapy water to find the leak and dunk cats in pool a couple of times, that might scare them from going near pool. Hmm.... I laughed it off at first. But now I'm thinking maybe it's not such a bad idea? It's not like it's going to harm them or that it's cat abuse... I might get scratched in the process, but would it really work? Maybe I'll have Martin do it tomorrow since he is off and is going to again look for the leak, LOL I'll just supervise him! LOL
