Then I have the depressing task of going over all the receipts, checkbook, mail, etc... and try to get back to where we know how much money we DON'T have.. This may take me a few days girls because I will have to walk away from it a few times.... its really depressing to me...
I have everything unpacked and am know washing lots of laundry today as well as going over the bills, receipts, etc. Martin dumped his wallet before leaving for work this morning... its a huge stack.. depressing... OH, yes, his vacation is over, he went back to work this morning at 5:30 a.m. I'm sure he has a big smile on his face... and the kids... they were happy to go and had a great time and were sooooo happy to be home.. but of course, were back to fighting within I think 2 hours of being home.. Allison was looking forward to Sunday on Saturday, she kept saying, so we are going home tomorrow? lol She really loves home.. that's good huh?
This is what we did in summary:
FRIDAY: After checking in, we had a picnic lunch there at the hotel (I had packed lunch stuff to save a bit of money), then we went directly to the beach there at Morro Bay, it was nice and NOT packed, but that was Friday. We then drove to their little main area and walked and looked at all the stores, walked their two little piers then found a place to have some Fish and Chips later for dinner. We went to the little Aquarium and fed the seals.. Felt kinda sorry for them becuase they are in such a small confined space.. but it says they are rehabilitated seals.. from what, I don't know... then we went to dinner for fish and chips... eeeehhh... had better in Monterey. Then we went back to the beach and stayed until it got too cold for the girls.. back to the hotel to sleep EARLY! it was 9:30 when we turned off the tv... weird..
SATURDAY: We kinda got a late start and couldn't get into the restaurant we wanted for breakfast, it was mega packed!! So we had to drive to San Luis Obispo to the only Dennys close to Morro Bay, had breakfast at 11:30 (lol) then we decided that because we were so close to Pismo Beach, to go ahead and go.. what a mistake that was... there was something going on like a carnival or something, there were cars everwhere, people everwhere... but we decided to contintue to find a beach to go.. nothing, no space for cars, there were people walking everwhere, atv's everwhere, ugggg... not good.. so we decided to go back to morro back and go to Cayucus, which is about 15 minutes from Morro bay... got a good parking, and went to the beach (it was not packed) and let the girls splash around, etc... then went on their long pier, got some ice cream, walked to look at their shops, then headed back to Morro Bay and went directly to their Shell shop.. got the girls some nice shells, demaree and nathan a little something and went to Morro Rock to climb the rocks and try to get splashed by the waves, but they weren't big enough... so back down to the beachy area and play in the water.. then we went and got dinner at Burger King, LOL back to the hotel and early to sleep.
SUNDAY: got up early (6 a.m.) to get to Fred's for their awesome breakfast... it was sooo good and so filling.. then we headed back to our hotel to pack it up and check out.. then we headed back out to the beach for just a little bit for our last look, then up to the museum, I think we spent an hour there.. then headed for home! I was going to drive home, but my stomach was hurting and I kept yawning.. so we got some coffee first, then headed out. Martin drove all the way home..
House was clean, Demaree had done her part to clean up after herself.. the cats were fed and looked very happy and Demaree was happy to see us home... it was NICE to have SPACE back.. that hotel room was so small. . it felt good to be home!
Martin decided to vacuum and wash the rental even though he didn't need too... he said maybe the neighbors will think its ours and be jealous.. and I said, yeah, but when they see me back driving my hunk-o-junk tomorrow, they will be laughing!!! LOL
The fantasy is over, back to reality it is!!! lol
