We've been meaning to do this for years, but just couldn't afford it, but this year we did it, we have redone our front yard landscaping.. not changing the design of the grass, but ripped out all the older plants and shrubs and put in new ones.
We had a guy from Lowe's that Martin is good freinds with give us a plan. He came over one day and measured and drew out our front yard on grid paper and went home and put it into his landscaper program and came up with an awesome design for shady plants and a few sun plants. So during Martin's vacation, that's what we did.. we got all the rocks, humus and plants, shrubs and planted them on Saturday and Sunday, then Martin finsihed by redoing the water drips for each of the plants. We haven't finished yet because we still need a few plants and he needs to finish the drip line on our side yard, but at least the planting is all done. I have before pictures and will be taking some after pictures once we get in the last of the hostas in.
It was hard work too, my body aches in places I didn't know existed, LOL But I'm fine today, it took 2 days of walking around like I had something stuck up my butt, LOLLabels: Family
